The Earth To Joy Australian Native Orchid Nursery began from a germ of an idea around 1987, with the idea of supplying the Sydney potplant trade with flowering native orchids grown from seed.

Changing Orchid Picture Since 2000, Earth To Joy has been breeding native orchids, and in 2005 entered the seedling trade.

If you'd prefer to visit in person, come visit us at an Orchid Show near you, or at the nursery. Earth To Joy is open to the public, by appointment, from July to November.

Owners Mandy and Lloyd Edwards are working on a few special breeding lines suited to:

  1. potplants - use of vigorous, compact plants that flower well.
  2. the hobbyist - species breeding to improve flower shape, flower and growth habit, seedling consistency and colour.
  3. for showing - looking more to flower shape, presentation and color variety.
